Education:Haresh has studied Law at Bachelors and Masters level at the Universities’ of Leicester U.K, Modena in Italy, Sevilla in Spain and Strasbourg in France. He has also studied Acting at ArtsEd School of Acting London (London City University), Teaching at Derby University and attended Film School at Sheffield Hallam University.

Haresh works in three main areas of law;

Employment & Regulatory Law; Haresh has extensive experience in Employment law and through this he has advised many professionals in all fields and worked in the area of Regulatory Law for medical practitioners. He has conducted various trials ranging from a few hours to a few months. He has successfully represented many clients against and for major institutions and companies.

Media, Film & Entertainment Law; Haresh also has extensive experience in Media and Entertainment law. Having worked as an Actor, Journalist and Filmmaker. Haresh has handled cases involving Defamation and most types of associated legal matters.

Civil Law (mixed); Haresh also advises on a variety of other civil work he has conducted in the past such as, contracts, GDPR, cost disputes, landlord/tenant disputes (including but not limited to leasehold and forfeiture cases); insurance disputes (between those making a claim and their insurer); contentious probate and the administration of estates, civil injunctions (with family/criminal elements), coroner’s inquests, judicial review and more. Please note, Haresh will not provide representation in these areas unless he is able to, but will be able to advise in conference.

International Work: Haresh also works for expatriate clients based in Andalucia who have pending legal issues from back home. Teaching: Prior to practising in law, Haresh qualified as a Modern Foreign Languages teacher in Spanish, Italian and French and has 12 years of teaching and lecturing experience. He has taught English abroad, lectured A Level Law and served as the Head of Law Department at Handsworth Grammar School, Birmingham.  He has also taught on the LL.B degree course at BPP Law School and been an examiner for the AQA exam board.


Awareness and Charity work: For 25 years since the age of 15, Haresh and his friends have been involved in several Human Rights, Equality and Charity projects and raised more than £10,000 for a variety of causes. Between 2007-2021 one of their projects was called ‘give yourself’, whereby Haresh donated his hair 5 times for a wig to be made for children who undergo chemotherapy. Drama and Journalism: Before embarking upon his legal and teaching career, Haresh worked as a freelance Journalist for the BBC and trained as a professional Actor at one of the county’s best Drama school’s, The ArtsEd school of Acting, London. Haresh has performed stand up comedy on the legal profession and is an advocate for positive mental health through the art of laughter yoga.

Filmmaking: Haresh is also a filmmaker and achieved a distinction in his MA at film school. In addition to various shorts and vlogs, Haresh has produced, written and directed the multi-award winning film ‘My Nieces Big Fat Delhi Wedding’. Awards and achievements: In 2001, Haresh was awarded an accolade as Tomorrow’s Lawyer in the Times Newspaper National Student Awards, and in 2002 he was shortlisted in the GG2 diversity and leadership awards. In 2004, Haresh was invited to be part of Her Majesty’s Judging Panel for Unsung Heroes. In 2010, he was recognised in the Law Teacher of the Year Awards by Oxford University Press and in 2021 him and his team won various awards for his first feature film.

Writing:  Haresh has contributed articles on discrimination and equality in magazines such as the Parliamentary Monitor, and his dissertation is archived in the library of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg which covers the subject of Freedom of expression vs privacy dealing with the Article 8 and 10 clashes of the ECHR.
